8 Championship Courts
Six Har-Tru clay and two hard courts, professionally maintained year-round.
What started as a four-court neighborhood club in 1958 has grown into one of New England's most respected tennis destinations β without ever losing the warm, welcoming spirit that made it home.
Riverside Tennis Club was founded in 1958 by a group of Brookline tennis enthusiasts who wanted one thing: a place to play, year-round, with people who loved the game as much as they did.
Sixty-five years later, our eight courts sit on the same stretch of Riverside Drive where it all began. The original clubhouse has been carefully expanded, but the spirit hasn't changed β drop in any morning and you'll find three generations of members hitting together.
Today we host over 1,200 members, run 14 USTA league teams, and have produced four state champions in the last decade alone.
We exist to make great tennis accessible β to first-timers picking up a racquet for the first time, to juniors chasing their first tournament win, to adults rediscovering the joy of the game. Every program, every court booking, every member event is built around that idea.
